A Louder Silence

Sometimes you have an idea about where to go but on your way something pulls you back –inside or outside, superficial or deep, small or big, close or far. Suddenly all the way gets clear, so does the direction to choose.
The performance A Louder Silence is a visual experience that invites the spectators into a space of memory, associations and another surprising perception of time. Laurence Felber works with a static installed 2.5-meter long trapeze bar that does not move like a usual trapeze does. Because the bar remains static, the movement of the body around it becomes floating.
A louder silence is an invitation to experience the present and enter into the absent.
